Family-Owned in Jacksonville Since 1996

1st Choice Movers has served Jacksonville, Florida since 1996. We started as a local outfit and grew into a full-service mover handling residential, commercial, long-distance, and specialty moves — while still operating with the same hands-on, hometown work ethic we started with. Our standard is simple: show up on time, treat every customer’s belongings like our own, and don’t consider the job done until the customer is completely satisfied.

The crew knows Jacksonville block by block — from the historic streets of Riverside and Avondale to the fast-growing communities stretching toward the beaches, St. Johns County, and St. Augustine. That local knowledge, paired with nearly three decades in business, is the foundation of who we are: not the biggest national chain, but the crew your neighbors already trust.

Hometown Movers, Family-Run

Family-run means our name and reputation are behind every move. Our crew lives and works in the same Jacksonville communities we serve, and we bring the same hands-on care to an apartment move across town as we do to a full household relocation. We built this business around straightforward service, dependable crews, real equipment, and treating every customer like a neighbor.

What We Stand For

• Reliability — we show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat every job like it’s the only one that matters.
• Local expertise — we know Jacksonville’s neighborhoods, traffic, and quirks better than a national chain ever could.
• Moving options — residential, commercial, long-distance, and specialty moves, with any packing or storage needs confirmed in your written quote.
• Earned trust — trust isn’t claimed, it’s built job by job, and nearly thirty years of doing right by customers backs that up.
