How {{LEGAL_NAME}}, doing business as 1st Choice Movers ("we"), based in Jacksonville, Florida, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit wemovejax.com (the "Site"), contact us, or use our services.
1. Information we collect
What you give us by form, phone, text, or email: name, phone, email, origin and destination ZIP, move date, size, and service type; job-application details; anything else you write. Don't send Social Security, bank or card numbers, or health information. Collected automatically: our providers may collect IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location via cookies and similar technologies (section 5).
2. How we use information
To quote, schedule, perform, and follow up on your move; to call, text, and email you about it (section 4); to review job applications; to improve the Site; to keep required records and prevent fraud.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only: with service providers that may use it only to serve us: forms (quote and job-application forms): Formspree; phone calls and text messages: our business phone and messaging provider; email: our email provider; website hosting: Replit; analytics: Google Analytics 4; embedded content: Google Maps and the Elfsight reviews widget. When you ask us to; for legal reasons (law, court order, or to protect rights and safety); in a business transfer, where the new owner must honor this policy.
4. Text messages (SMS) and calls
1st Choice Movers texts about your quote, move, and service. We text you only if you give us your number and agree on our form, or text us first. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop (or opt out any other reasonable way); we honor it within 10 business days at most and may send one confirmation text. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (904) 731-7223 or info@wemovejax.com. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing; it is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Cookies, analytics, and tracking
We use Google Ads conversion tracking and store ad-click identifiers (gclid/gbraid/wbraid) and UTM parameters to measure advertising.
Essential technologies (e.g. form spam protection). Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures how visitors use the Site; opt out with Google's add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Embedded content: Google Maps and the Elfsight reviews widget may set their own cookies and receive your IP and browser information under their own policies. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Do Not Track: there is no common standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, and the Site does not currently change its behavior in response to them. Google and Elfsight may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.
6. Email
Any marketing email will include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address; we honor unsubscribes within 10 business days.
7. Retention
We keep quote requests, applications, and customer records only as long as needed for these purposes or as the law requires (e.g. tax or moving records); analytics data follows our Google Analytics retention setting. Then we delete, destroy, or anonymize it.
8. Security
Reasonable safeguards for our size: HTTPS, limited access, password-protected accounts, secure disposal. No system is perfectly secure.
9. Your requests
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it (except what we must keep for legal, tax, or contract reasons), or to stop marketing texts or emails: email info@wemovejax.com, call (904) 731-7223, or write to 11202 St Johns Industrial Pkwy N #2, Jacksonville, FL 32246. We may verify your identity and normally respond within 45 days, and won't treat you differently for asking.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information and will delete it if we learn we have.

12. Changes
We'll post updates here with a new "Last updated" date and give more prominent notice of material changes.
13. Florida residents
We do not sell your personal information. We send marketing text messages only with your prior express written consent, and you can reply STOP at any time. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and dispose of records securely. If a breach of security involves your personal information, we will notify you, and the Florida Department of Legal Affairs where required, no later than 30 days after we determine a breach occurred, unless the law allows a delay.
