Small & Single-Item Moves
Couch & Furniture Movers in Jacksonville, FL
A couch, a sectional, a dresser — moved carefully without booking a full-scale move for a handful of pieces.

A sectional that won't fit through the new place's doorway, a couch headed to a new apartment, a dresser going to a family member's house — these are some of our most common calls, and they don't need to turn into a whole production. We bring the right hand trucks, straps, and door/corner protection for exactly this kind of job.
Common furniture-only jobs
Couches and sectionals, dressers, dining tables, bed frames, bookshelves — usually one to a handful of pieces going from one address to another, sometimes with a stop at a family member's place in between.
Tight doorways and awkward turns
Sectionals in particular are notorious for not fitting through doorways or around stairwell turns the way people expect. We measure and problem-solve on-site — sometimes that means disassembly, sometimes a different angle nobody thought to try.

Couch & Furniture Movers FAQ
Can you move just one couch, not a whole household?+
Yes, this is one of our most common single-item requests.
What if my sectional doesn't fit through the door?+
We come prepared to problem-solve — measuring, trying different angles, and disassembling where needed rather than forcing it and damaging a doorway.
Do you move furniture between two different addresses, not just one move?+
Yes — a common example is moving a piece to a family member's house as part of the same trip.
How much does moving just a couch or a few pieces cost?+
Much less than a full move, since it's a smaller crew and shorter time. We'll give you a real number based on what's moving and the distance.
Do you bring your own moving equipment, like dollies?+
Yes — every crew brings furniture dollies, hand trucks, and moving straps as standard equipment. You don't need to provide or rent anything.
Do you provide floor runners or floor protection in the house?+
Yes — floor runners and protective coverings are standard on every move, especially for hardwood, tile, and carpeted stairs. It's not an upcharge or something you need to request separately.
Do you protect the furniture with moving pads?+
Yes — furniture is wrapped in moving pads and blankets before it's loaded, to protect it from scuffs and damage in transit. This is standard on every move.
Do you wrap furniture in plastic or shrink wrap too?+
For upholstered furniture, mattresses, and anything that benefits from an extra layer — especially in Florida's humidity — yes, shrink wrap over the moving pads is common practice.
Will you protect doorways, corners, and railings during the move?+
Yes — door jamb protection and corner guards are part of our standard setup, especially in tighter hallways, stairwells, and apartment or condo buildings.
Do you strap items down in the truck so nothing shifts in transit?+
Yes — everything is strapped and secured in the truck before we drive, so nothing shifts, tips, or slides during transport.
